Each team consists of 13 local players and 6 international players. Then the team of one team consists of 19 players. Five teams will be named based on Colombo, Galle, Dambulla, Kandy and Jaffna.
Cricket sources say that players from every country are participating in the LPL auction. Angelo Mathews, Lasith Malinga, Thisara Perera, Kusal Janith Perera and Dasun Shanaka have been named as LPL Icon Players.
